Summer Break 2026 With the school holidays looming and impending holidays planned, we will have our yearly summer break between the 17th of August and the 2nd of September 2026. Our last training session will be on Friday 14th of August and we will restart training from Thursday 3rd of September 2026 (usual times). May I take this opportunity to wish you all an amazing summer holiday and thank you once again for all your hard work in class and your continued support to the clubs 😊🌴🌞 NGTKD

To all Cowbridge/Ystradowen students: Please note that we will have a slightly different timetable for our summertime classes.  Starting from Monday 20th July and until the start of our summer break on Friday 14th August, I will mix the intermediate and advanced classes.  Green belts to Black belts will be in the same session from 16:45 to 17:45 (1 hour class) on Mondays and Fridays.  (No changes to the beginners session)  All classes will resume normal times when we start back on the 4th of September.  Thanks

IMPORTANT MEMBERS NOTICE Membership Fee Adjustment -Effective 1st September 2026- Dear Students and Members, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you that, effective from 1st September 2026, there will be a modest adjustment to our monthly membership fees. Over recent years, we have experienced substantial increases in operating costs, including venue hire charges, insurance, equipment, and other essential expenses.  While NGTKD has absorbed these rising costs for as long as possible, it has now become necessary to make an adjustment to ensure the continued quality and sustainability of our clubs. Our last membership fee increase was in September 2023, and this is the first change in nearly three years. This decision has not been taken lightly. However, it is essential so I can continue to provide the best-quality instruction possible, professional training environment, and high standards that our members have come to expect. - GRADING CHANGE OF DATE - Please note our next coloured belts grading will now be on:  MONDAY 13th OF JULY 2026 Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg Colcot Road Barry CF62 8YU The grading will take place between 17:30 and 19:30, please make sure to check the exact group and time for your child and arrive 10/15 minutes before the start of your grading. ✅ USE THE SCHOOL POSTCODE CF62 8YU TO GET TO THE VENUE ✅ (You can follow the signs to Barry Hospital, the entrance to the school is on the same road) Groups and times for your grading: GROUP 1: 17.30 to 18.15 - WHITE BELTS - YELLOW STRIPES - YELLOW BELTS - GREEN SRTIPES GROUP 2: 18.30 to 19.15 - GREEN BELTS - BLUE STRIPES - BLUE BELTS - RED STRIPES - RED BELTS (White Taekwondo suits only, NO club t-shirts allowed) (All green belts and above MUST bring their full sparring kit to the grading!)
