A small group of competitors from the Cowbridge Innerspirit Taekwondo school took part in the Welsh Closed Championships on Sunday the 4th of December in Newport. Everybody did really well and fought hard in the last tournament of the year. Rhydian Williams took gold in his division just after getting a bronze medal last week at the British Championships! Hannah Sloan also took gold in her first competition and fought extremely well. Harvey Stockford and Liam Sloan fought hard to take bronze in their division. Jacob Seamark, Iestyn Owen and Arthur Short also fought hard and represented the club very well. Congratulations to all the students from the Innerspirit-martialarts schools who took part in the tournament! Congratulation to all the boys from the Cowbridge innerspirit Taekwondo school who competed in the British Championships on Sunday 27th of November 2011. The tournament took place at the International Arena in Telford and had nearly 2000 competitors from all over the UK and Europe. A special mention to Rhydian Williams who fought extremely well and got a bronze medal in the biggest tournament of the year! Rhydian showed a lot of confidence and skills in his third competition and was only narrowly defeated in the semi-finals after 5 hard fights.
