Dear Parents/Guardians, With the Christmas school holidays coming, we will have a break from training between the 16th of December 2021 and the 7th of January 2022. Therefore, our last training day will be: Porthcawl: Tuesday 14th December 2021 Cowbridge:  Wednesday 15th of December 2021 (extra class for Cowbridge students )  GROUP 1: White belts to Green belts - 16:00 to 16:45. GROUP 2: Blue stripes to Black Belts - 17:00 to 17:45. All classes will start back from  Monday  10th  of January 2022   (usual times). Please note our next colour belt grading will take place on: Monday 13th of December 2021 Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg Colcot Road Barry CF62 8YU Grading will be between 17:30 and 19:30 Exact times will be given for each group when we have  the final number of students grading. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL THE COVID RULES IN PLACE FOR OUR CLASSES WILL ALSO HAVE TO BE FOLLOWED AT THE GRADING. There will be no spectators allowed in the grading due to the social distancing rules in place and all results will be given in the next class. Grading forms for students eligible to grade will be given out in the next few classes. The grading form must be completed and returned with the grading fee plus an up to date T.A.G.B licence, no later than 7 days prior to the arranged date.

Hi everyone,  I am please to announce that all students from green belts and above will be able to start sparring in class again from September! Sparring is super fun and a huge part of our training and sport, I cannot wait to be able to teach that aspect of Taekwondo again in our classes! If your child is now a green belt and does not have their T.A.G.B. sparing kit yet, please get in touch so we can organise it.  If you have your full sparring kit already, please bring it to class so we can start back as soon as possible! TO ALL COWBRIDGE STUDENTS: Hi everyone, With the start of the school holidays and knowing that classes are going to be very quiet for the next 2 weeks, I have decided to mix the higher grades with the intermediate class.  The training schedule for the next 2 weeks is:  MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS:       - 16:00 to 16:40: Beginners (White belts and Yellow stripes)     - 16:45 to 17:30: Mixed class (Yellow belts and above) Please remember that our last day of training is on Friday 30th of July in Ystradowen, we will restart all lessons from Monday 6th of September, usual times. Dear Parent/Student, I hope you’re well and wanted to give you a quick update on our summer break. ⚠️ Please be aware that we will not have any training throughout the month of August this year! I will now have to be away for longer than originally planned. ❌ NO FEES will be required in August so I will ask you to please CANCEL your standing order, we will re-start the monthly fees from the 1st of September. Hi everyone,  Please remember that there is no classes in Cowbridge today due to the Bank Holiday. All other classes are on as normal this week. See you all in class soon!  

  COVID 19 RETURN TO CLASS PROTOCOL: No training if feeling unwell or other members of the household displaying symptoms for Covid 19! (This goes without saying, but I will be very strict on this one and will not allow students to train if they are showing signs of illness).  Do not attend training if your class or school year has been asked to isolate due to Covid cases in school. Members have to make sure their licence is up to date (I will have licence forms with me at every session and will contact students who need renewal). Classes will have social distance rules in place (following the latest Welsh Government guidelines, children under the age of 11 do not have to social distance anymore but I will keep the 2 metres rule on for now). Class size has been reduced to 15 students maximum for now so we have an updated timetable.
