Very happy and excited to present Heath Webb with his Taekwondo 1st Degree tonight and welcome him to the Black Belt ranks! Heath is only the 7th student to achieve the level of Black Belt with me and I am a very proud Instructor to say the least! Well done again for a great achievement and never giving up, the 6+ years of hard training and dedication have finally paid off!

Amazing couple of seminars from Master Lockyer in the last few days. Great concepts and ideas on how to improve speed, core strength and kicking ability in sparring! Well done to all students who took part, this was an amazing opportunity to train with a living legend of our sport!        

Mr Joseph Schembri is hosting an Olympic style Taekwondo & fitness seminar with Master Rodney Lockyer, 7th degree Taekwondo Black Belt from Australia!  Master Lockyer is travelling to Europe over the next few weeks so this is a great opportunity to train and gain knowledge from one of the best! Places are limited so if interested, please see me in class for more information.

Well done to all students taking part in the Welsh open Championships in Cardiff yesterday! Excellent effort from everyone, you all tried your best and will benefit from the experience! Massive congratulations to Ben Sutton for taking silver in a very packed division and fighting hard to secure his place in the final! Well done Ben!

The 2015 T.A.G.B. Taekwondo Midlands Championships will be held in Kettering on Sunday 5th of July. Venue Arena Sports Thurston Drive Kettering NN15 6PB Start Time 9.30am Start. All competitors may only wear standard white T.A.G.B. doboks. Please give your form and competition fees to your instructor before the closing date on Friday the 19th of June 2015.  

Massive congratulations to our new Black Belts Rhydian Williams and Rory Chapman ! The two boys recently undertook a very challenging Black Belt grading test to achieve the rank of 1st Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. The National Black Belt grading took place on the 26th of April 2015 at the T.A.G.B. Headquarters in Bristol. Students were put  through their paces to demonstrate their theory of Taekwondo, technical skills, as well as their pattern knowledge, application of self-defense and sparring abilities. The students were examined by a panel of Masters and Senior Instructors of the T.A.G.B. in what proved to be a technically and physically demanding grading. Rhydian and Rory represented their school and Instructor in the very best light, and have now become role models and inspiration for other students at the club by joining the Black Belts ranks! The many years of dedication, hard work and consistent training have finally paid off! Well ...

The 2015 T.A.G.B. Taekwondo Welsh Open Championships will be held at University of Wales Institute Cardiff, on the 24th of May 2015. University of Wales Institute Cardiff Cyncoed Campus Cyncoed Road Cardiff CF23 6XD 9.00am Start. All competitors may only wear standard white T.A.G.B. doboks, the most recent national doboks or T.A.G.B. Tiger Dobok. (No club doboks)     Please give your form and competition fees to your instructor before the closing date on Friday the 1st of May 2015.
