Very excited to announce the start of our new Sport Taekwondo class this week! The class will be on every Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30pm at Ystradowen village hall and is for students aged 10 years + (will need full sparring kit) Our new Sport Taekwondo sessions aim to promote strong sparring skills as well as high levels of fitness and intends to help young Taekwondo athletes develop a healthy competitive mindset. The Sport Taekwondo Program is designed to be a little more intense than regular class with a focus on cardio training and technical development and will include:           - Strength and conditioning routines           - Ring craft/sparring drills and tactics           - Scored matches           - Competitive sparring (higher grades) The new class is £4/session to cover for Hall fees and extra instruction. Wales T.A.G.B. Welsh Area Championships 26/11/2017 Newport Leisure Centre Kingsway Newport NP20 1UH Doors open at 9am Please let me know in class if interested in taking part! This is the perfect opportunity to compete at a local tournament to gain experience and build confidence! All entries to be in by the 10th of November 2017.

The 2017 T.A.G.B. British Championships will be on Sunday the 5th of November and will take place at the Barclay Card Arena, Birmingham. Address: Barclay Card Arena King Edward Road Brimingham B1 2AA All entry forms and fees to be in by Monday the 16th of October please. All competitors to arrive by 9am. Congratulations to our new Cowbridge and Porthcawl 1st degree Black Belts! Deri Guildford, Jacob Seamark, Benjamin Hardy, Arthur Short, Ben Arnesen and Daniel Song.
